Outdoor Propaganda is a campaign started by
Mountain Wings and an attempt to promote
outdoor activities among students. This non
formal educational project is based on
volunteer work and its main objectives are
the following:
- to offer a healthy alternative for leisure
among young people knowing that many of them
face social problems such as smoking,
drinking alcohol and taking drugs
- raising awareness among youngsters about
the importance of keeping the environment
clean, preserving it for the future
generations through partnerships with
schools.
- promoting mountain sports among students.
The programs
which are part of this project are the
following:
Outdoor media - is held in
different schools as photo and video lecture
lanterns covering specific subjects
Outdoor Park Challenge - an
outdoor type of competition similar to the
well-known Eco Challenge, different from
that only in the location as it takes place
in the city of Arad. This is the first time
that such a competition takes place in Arad.
The candidates' teams compete in activities
such as: crossing the lake in a canoe,
tyrolean traverse, rappelling, problem
solving games and archery. The teams are
made up of both girls and boys and the
activities don't need preparation in advance
or previous experience.
Eco Outdoor - refers to
activities involving the cleaning of various
tourist sights in the county of Arad. These
activities are attended by students from
different schools which are in partnership
with us. They have a well-established
purpose and the participants are rewarded
teambuilding activities which take place as
part of the Adventure at the Fortress
program.
 Our
activities are held under maximum safety.
They are designed for teenagers and young
people regardless of their physical
condition or previous knowledge!
